The Distinguished Citizen Award

The Distinguished Citizen Award is given to an individual in our community who personifies the values of Scouting: Model Citizenship, Character and Leadership.

This event serves as the primary fundraising initiative for Twin Rivers Council, providing crucial resources to support character-development programs for youth across 13 counties. Through the years, Scouting has been instrumental in instilling values such as duty to God, duty to country, duty to others, and duty to self in young people.
